My entire childhood I was overweight. It wasn’t until I graduated high school that I decided to make a change.  I was lucky enough to have my brother help get me started but I felt really uncomfortable going to the gym. So, I started building my own fitness space, in my basement.  Over the years I saved and purchased one piece of equipment at a time.  I trained regularly and lost 50 pounds all on my own, doing my own research on training and nutrition.  Friends became interested in what I was doing so I started training them – that’s when I found my calling.  I started playing roller derby in 2011 and the training I was doing in the gym made me a better athlete both mentally and physically.  I wanted to help people see the benefits of regular, deliberate movement because it changed my life.  I wanted to help other people change their lives too.

 

I’ve had my own studio for over 10 years now and I know that my purpose is to serve.  I’m here to provide the knowledge, guidance, support, and resources to help clients transform themselves from the inside out.  The greatest reward is helping people break through whatever barriers have been holding them back.  Personal training is about helping people reach their full potential in their health and fitness goals.  I love being a part of their journey to becoming their best selves in health and physical fitness.  I don’t want to just help people change how they look and feel, I want to change their outlook on living a healthy lifestyle while making it fun and sustainable.
